Roll out a ball of Sculpey Glow in the Dark clay and press it down slightly to make a flat top and bottom.

Roll out multiple snakes in Sculpey Black, press down one side of the snake and attach to the top of her head. Curl the end up until it touches itself – repeat all the way around to create her curly, curly hair πŸ™‚

Once the hair is done, roll out a ball in Sculpey Black and squish it! Squish it real good. Make a nice little flat circle.

Place that on top of her head.

Next roll out a ball of black clay and then shape it into a triangle. Press down onto the base of the hat and blend in with a blending tool.

Carefully bend the tip of the hat over.

NEXT! Use your dotting tool to dot too little indents for eyes. Roll out a small, small snake of black clay – cut it in half and roll into balls. Press into the eye dot indents. EYES!

Now roll out a super, teeny tiny snake. The smallest you’ve ever rolled. No really. SMAAAAAALLLLL! Cut it.
Using a metal needle tool to pick up one end, pick it up and place where you want your mouth – gently shape with your fingers and gently push into place.

Now insert an eye pin – place of your choosing. I put mine towards the base of the hat.

BAKING TIME! Bake per package instructions. This is almost an 1″ thick at the widest part so I put it in the oven for nearly an hour.

Lastly – glaze with UV resin and let cure in the sun πŸ™‚

AND YOU’RE DONE!

Here’s a photo of two charms I’ve made like this:

Look at that glow!
